The objects for which the Federation is established are :
  • Management of Lands, etc.

    To manage all land, buildings, and other property whether belonging to the Federation or not, and to utilize or let out such land, buildings and other property and to collect rents and income and to supply to tenants and occupiers and others advantages, lights, waiting rooms, reading rooms, meeting rooms, lavatories etc.

  • Borrowing

    To borrow or raise any moneys required for the purposes of the Federation upon such terms and such’ manner and on such securities as may be determined, and in particular by a mortage, charge or lien in the Federation's property or by the issue of debentures or debenture stock charged upon all or any of the property of the Federation.

  • Negotiable instruments

    To draw, make, accept, endorse and execute promissory notes, bills of exchange, cheques and other negotiable instruments.

  • Support to other Bodies

    To establish and support or aid in the establishment and support of associations, institutions, funds, trusts and finances calculated to benefit employees or exemployees of the Federation or the dependents or connections of such persons, and grant pensions, allowances, gratuities and bonuses, and to make payment towards insurance and to, establish, maintain subscribe to or guarantee moneys for charitable or benevolent objects or for any public, general or useful objects.

  • Charities

    To establish, undertake, superintend, administer and contribute to any charities or benevolent fund from whence may be made donations or advances to deserving persons who may be or have been engaged in the Film Industry, or connected with any person engaged therein, and to contribute or otherwise assist and charitable or benevolent institutions or undertakings.

  • Remuneration to staff

    To remunerate the servants of the Federation and others out of and in proportion to the profits of the Federation or otherwise as may be thought fit.

  • Funds

    To create any depreciation fund, reserve fund, sinking fund, insurance fund or any other special fund, whether for depreciation or for repairing, improving, extending or maintaining any of the properties of the Federation or for any other purposes conducive to the interests of the Federation.

  • Foreign Countries

    To procure the Federation to be registered or recognized in any foreign country or place.

  • Promotion of other Bodies

    To promote any company or companies for the purpose of acquiring air or any of the properties, rights and liabilities of the Federation or for any other purpose which may seem directly or indirectly calculated-to benefit the Federation.

  • Amalgamation

    To amalgamate with any association, company or companies having objects all together or in part similar to those of the Federation.

  • Aid from other bodies

    To aid or receive aid from any other Association promoting or formed to promote any of the above objects and to subscribe to any Association with the view of obtaining any other advantages or benefits for the purposes of the Federation. and to subscribe to any funds movement or society that the Governing Body may from time to time consider deserving

  • Social Intercourse.

    To provide facilities for social intercourse between the members of the Federation and their friends, and if though fit to afford them all or any of the usual privileges, advantages, conveniences, and accommodation of a club.
