The objects for which the Federation is established are :
  • Honorary Members.

    To amity any persons (whether eligible or not eligible for membership) to the honorary members of the Federation on such terms, and to confer on them such rights and privileges as may seem expedient and to charge such fees therefore as may seem expedient.

  • Representation.

    To enable associations for the time being and from time to time of persons engaged in any way in the Film Industry to federate or co-operate by becoming members or associates of the Federation either by themselves or their nominees, and to act as the representative and mouth-piece of such associations.

  • Subscriptions, Donations, etc.

    To accumulate moneys for the purposes of the Federation by means of monthly subscriptions, donations, contributions or otherwise from members, or others and also by borrowing money from members or any other persons on such security and on such terms as may from time to time be arranged.

  • Gifts

    To accept any gifts or bequests or devises, donations or provide for funds and to invest such gifts or donations or bequests or sums and to apply the income arising there from or to resort to the capital thereof for any of the objects of the Federation and also to subscribe for charitable or benevolent objects or for any public general or useful objects.

  • Investment of Funds

    To invest the funds of the Federation, not immediately required for the purposes of its business, from time to time in Government securities or in other securities or shares or properties, or in such other manner as may from time to time be determined by the Committee and from time to time sell or vary all such investments, and to execute all assignments, transfers, receipts and documents that may be” necessary in that behalf.

  • Collaboration with Other Bodies

    To act in conjunction with, unite or amalgamate with, create or constitute, or assist in creating or constituting any other company or association of a kind similar, wholly or partially, to the Federation and to buy up or absorb all or any part of the business or property of any such company or association.

  • Freedom of Contract

    To promote freedom of contract, and to resist, insure against and discourage interference therewith, and to subscribe to any association or fund for any such purposes.

  • General

    To do all or any of the above things in’ India or in any part of the world, and either as principals, agents, contractors, trustees or otherwise and either alone or in conjunction with others, and. by or through agents, subcontractors, trustees or otherwise, and generally to do all or any of the above things and II such other Things as are incidental or may bethought conducive to the carrying Into effect or attainment of the above objects or any of them in Any part of the world either on, account of the Company alone or .in conjunction with any other company, corporation, person or Persons.

  • Administrative Expenses.

    To pay out of the funds of the Federation the costs, charges and expenses, preliminary and incidental to teh formation, establishment and registration of the Federation, or of any other Association, and all expenses which the Federation may lawfully pay, including brokerage and commission for obtaining applications debentures or debentures stock.

  • Agencies

    To establish and maintain agencies in any part of India or the world for the conduct of the business of the Federation or the sale of any material or things fro the time being at the disposal fo the Federation and to undertake, transact, and execute all kindsof agency business and also trusts of all kinds which may seem to the Federation desirable either gratuitously or otherwise.
